Author Bio: - Hi, My name is Ronnie H. Lee. I started writing as a way to escape and relax. I was born in 1969 and live in Northern Michigan where I continue to write and work on more books. I have 3 amazing boys, DJ, Logan and Tanner. I plan on continuing to write more and different kinds of books so keep looking for me. I have been signed on by Scilicet Publishing Group, LLC in June of 2014.

Please share some of the best memories of your childhood. – N/A

Tell us about your education were you always a writer? – I have an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Alpena Community College where I graduated with high honors in 2011. I have always wrote a little here and there but really started writing about 3 years ago.

What languages can you speak and write? - English

What is your biggest source of inspiration in life? – Life has destroyed a lot of inspiration as you will read in my writing. I guess if I had to figure out why I continue to move forward, it is in hopes of finding a happy life with someone that will love me and enjoy a life with me.

What hurts you most in this world? – I would have to say being betrayed by the people that you trust.

What is your favorite genre and why? – Poetry is my favorite. It is filled with so much emotion and depth.

When did you start writing? - On and off most of my life but really heavy since 2011.

What is the purpose of your writing? – Writing for me is an emotional release. It is the best way for me to get out what is haunting my thoughts.

Which of your works have been published so far? – This is my first book with Scilicet Publishing Group, LLC. I have another book that I published called “Losing weight is not easy”.

Any works in progress? – I have 2 -3 books in the works right now and an update to my previously self-published book that I hope to have out next spring.

What are your future plans? – I have a couple more poetry books I am working on and a novel I am having reviewed to see if it is any good. I will continue to write no matter what as it is very helpful for me.

 What top four things do you consider while writing a book? – My writing is emotional based. I consider the impact things have had on my life and hope that I can convey the feeling I have through the words I write. I want the reader to be able to have an emotional response to the words they read. I know I probably don’t consider as many things as other authors but if I can get a feeling across then everything else will fall into place.

 What is your dream destination on Earth? – Sitting by an inland waterfall with a lagoon in Hawaii with someone that loves me for who I am.

Your origin of birth and other countries you have visited/ stayed. - I was born in Flint, Michigan and have been here my whole life.

What did you like best about these countries around the globe? - I have never been to any other Countries but have meet some very nice people in New Zeeland, Australia, United Kingdom, Oman, and Asia.

Your favorite time of day? – Night time. I am more comfortable in the dark. There is a sense of peace that comes with the night.

Your favorite color and why? – Black and Red. The absence of color is comforting. It is like walking in the shadows where no one can see you. Black wraps itself around you like a blanket and hides you from the harshness of the world. Red is a translucent color at its base. It is almost invisible until it is layered on top of itself. Red color has to permeate into every fiber in order to cover completely. It blocks everything else out and exists because of its strength in over powering the other colors trying to come out.

Your favorite book and why? – I really don’t have a favorite book. I like anything that can touch me emotionally.

Your favorite celebrity and why? -  I don’t really have one.

Your favorite food?  Some quickies: - Subway Chicken Bacon Ranch, Pizza, Chocolate, and Taco’s.

Sun or Moon: - Obviously for me it is the Moon.

Laughter or Smile: - Smile. Especially if it is internal. So many have to put on a fake smile or have a fake laugh just to make other people feel comfortable or not think there is something wrong with them.

Morning or Evening: - Evening. The sun is on its way down and the peacefulness of night is on its way.

Coffee or Tea: - Water

Mountain or Sea: - Mountain for the view and sea for the tranquility.

Silence or Conversation: - Silence from the BS and conversation with someone that know how to communicate.

Water or Fire: - Both.

Air or Earth: - Earth.

Mars or Jupiter: - Jupiter.

Tulip or Rose: - Rose. 

Left or Right: - Left.

Glance or Stare: - Stare to see if they glance back.
