Kori suffered a great loss, one that left her feeling so desolate and alone, that she believed nothing would ever fill the void… The only thing that kept her going was the one little piece of joy she still had in her life, her baby boy, Rhett. She had no choice but to move forward and give her son the best life she could. Which meant moving back home. Except there was one problem Home was where Reed would be… The man who once held her heart, then shattered it into a million pieces. Grieving the loss of Rhett's dad, and learning to forgive those who have betrayed her, Kori was battling it all. But will she ever have the strength to forgive Reed?
~~I received this in exchange for an honest review~~
This book had me in tears, not just small tiny tears, big huge crocodile tears. And I couldn't stop read it, so of course the tears kept flowing. Losing the one that you love is hard, and sometimes all you want to do is just curl up in a little ball and go to sleep. But, When you have a baby to think about, you can't curl up in that ball, you have to keep going. Kori does just that. So she moves back home so her parents can help her out. As well as her friends. One in particular, Reed, who wants to help her, but she doesn't' want anything to do with him. But he keeps on trying to help her out. Can she forgive him? Will her heart ever heal?
There aren't enough words to express what I felt while I read this book. My heart was aching for Kori. C.A. really knows how to write a great love story. She has everything in there. And she leaves nothing out. She doesn't string you along. You don't guess on what is going to happen in this book. She really does write this book beautifully!
C.A. Harms is like any other addicted reader. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories. She hasn't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently she has taken on a new liking and now is a full blown Romance novel addict.
She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. You will always find her with her kindle or paperback in hand as it is her favorite pass time.
