When you have been in foster care for the better part of your life, you don't trust anyone, especially when the system has failed you time and time again. Jules, is like that, she doesn't trust anyone. Until Holden and Dante. She feels a connection to Holden, one that makes her feel something other than nothing. Dante, on the other hand, is mysterious. With secrets that Jules has, and the secrets that Dantes is keeping from both of them, things could get bad. The ultimate secret that Dante and Holden's father holds, is one that will destroy everything.
This book kept me on my toes the entire time. Jules was always looking over her shoulder. You can feel the eyes watching her everywhere she goes. You can also feel the love that her and Holden have. I loved the chemistry that the characters have with each other. There is a love hate relationship between Jules and Dante, that will make you wonder about him. K.A. Hunter writes a great book! You will not be disappointed in this one at all!
