~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~ There are so many words that I want to put into this review, but alas if I did that, I'd give away the whole book. What I can tell you is that you will have all the feels. I am going to tell you right now that there are situations in this book that are for adults. There are scary situations and situations that make a 16 year old grow up super quick. I gave this book 5 stars becuse the writing is amazing. I dont know how Alli wrote this book and kept her wits about her. I give her mad props for writing a difficult subject. Safe and Sound is a beautiful book. I would like to think that this book is about second chances. Because everyone deserves a second chance. This book, in my opinion, is an amazing book. Yes the subject in the book is very much in todays news, but I believe that Alli has tackled it well. I think you need to give this book a chance. I am glad that I did!
